拉惹柏特拉也是首名在煽动法令下被提控的部落客，惟他拒绝缴付保释金，结果被送入双溪毛糯监狱监狱扣押等候审讯。拉惹柏特拉昨日在监狱内展开绝食和拒绝会见任何人，包括其妻子和律师，使到欲前往探访他的玛丽娜李也吃了闭门羹。
玛丽娜李透露，她今早会晤拉惹柏特拉时，他已经开始在进食，而其健康及精神状态看来也良好。她目前正在八打灵再也地庭，处理缴付5000令吉的保释金的手续。
依据程序最快明日放人不过根据法庭程序，最快也只能在明日放人。不过拉惹柏特拉的辩护律师将促请法庭网开一面，尽速在今日就放人。
在拉惹柏特拉拒绝缴付保释金后，网民即刻发起“与拉惹柏特拉同在：一人一元”筹款运动（Walk with RPK: One Ringgit One Person），并在短短的7小时内就筹获逾三万五千令吉。玛丽娜李已宣布中止这项筹款运动，因为所筹集的保释金已经远超所需。

槟65民青团员纷设部落格 变身部落客监督政府 报导：杨永年
敦马当设部落格，第一篇文章就有848个回应（至5月3日下午）。（槟城7日讯）大选后两个月，国阵成员党党员纷纷当起部落客，在槟州民政党槟州青年团中，目前已有约65位团员有了部落格，扮起监督政府的角色。
这次大选中国阵惨败，3月8日后，国阵成员党党员纷纷设立部落格，包括前首相敦马哈迪医生及马华前副总会长拿督斯里蔡细历。而在槟州民政党槟州青年团团员中，目前约65位团员有了部落格，料陆续有来。
槟州民政党丹绒区部青年团团长胡栋强受访时说，大选后，在民政党的数项会议中都有提及部落格，也有数项会议是针对部落格而开的。
槟州民政党青年团目前正设网页（gerakanyouthpg.org/pg/）及部落格主页（gerakanyouthpg.org/blog/），槟州12个区部的青年团都将有各区部的部落格。

黄伟益欢迎民政党党员通过部落格批评槟州政府，但若巫统犯错，希望他们也以同一标准勇敢批评。
黄伟益受询时说，写部落格不只要针对政题，更重要的是产生社会共鸣。若槟州政府做得不对，任何敌对党党员都可以通过部落格来批评，但若巫统犯错时，希望他们也以同一标准勇敢批评。
“我们可以写文章批评当权者，但他们敢不敢批评巫统？” 他说，现在社会大多数人都在不满巫统的作风。

World Music Festival Penang
Yeah!!! World Music Festival, 2008 Penang, this year successfully organized from 2, 3 & 4 May 2008 at Botanic Garden, Penang.
This year "Tien Kong Pek" very cooperative not like last year ha-ha. I participate the third day show, which also last day of the show. When I was there Tibetan playing his music and song very nice... I like the atmosphere there, very nice natural environment surrounding by music... Hope next year I also got chances to be there.
I saw a lot of old and young really enjoy it, it also and improvement of Penangites in the quality of life.
Who is Opposition??
Who is opposition?? DAP? PKR? PAS? UMNO? MCA? GERAKAN or MIC???
after 12th GE, all change..... Some of the government agency also very difficult to run their duty, like Education Department because it under Federal Government, it because that all HM in Penang verbally ordered by their superior (State Education Dept) do not invite current State Government to school event or in the school.
Tonight 5 May during the speech of Penang CM Political Secretary he mention that last time when DAP as opposition they don't allow to go in school for activity but now as government in Penang state also same like last time, this is unfair to penangites. But what can they do in the school? Try to influence student in politic?? Or else why must go to school for publicity?? If sincere to give allocation or helping school just send the money to school don't follow BN to do publicity last minute.
Somehow, 3 more days to 2 months old DAP Led government, they still act like opposition maybe too long to be opposition and the BN still need to act like government to explain this and that. My personal view is this new government should start work with their sincerity heart for the betterment of Penangites and not only everyday publicity in newspaper, without any action to solve problem.
We know lot of people of Penang going to be jobless, by politician keep talking in newspaper said that got how many billion investments come in Penang but where is it?? sometime people action louder then speak.... so please act, don’t wait until people demonstration on street then only try to do something.
One more thing, I personally hope that DAP led Government should SINCERE don't try to doing publicity by saying only then after pushing to Federal government like last time. If you know that is Federal limitation then find the way to do something for people, like all of us know Bridge, monorail and lot of Mega project is under federal power, then for the betterment of Penangites just work with BN Government, don't do show then after publish again said that Federal Government cancel it. Have you'll try sincerely? Why contractor courtesy calls also want to get press there? If monorail project got 10 company interested then are you going to publish 10 times??

Jason Ong in Malay Costume !!!!
Our Keadilan Chinese's People Rep made the FIRST in history...... 1st non Malay YB wearing Malay Costume for his very 1st day in Dewan Undangan Negeri... is he promoting Malaysia Malaysian?? If he wants to promote multiracial Malaysia he should wear Chinese Costume??? What wrong? Which education system in Malaysia said that Malaysia Malaysian's costume is Malay Costume??? If futures PKR ruling the country then will him same like Hishammuddin wave the KERIS??? Or this Jason Ong wants to be outstanding among the ruling party rep?? Or else reporter focuses others YBs and don't highlight him?? People Rep is for Publicity purpose or brings people voice into Dewan?? Which is more important??
